WEYMOUTH, UK – THURSDAY 29th MARCH 2018: UK hopefuls for the Invictus Games 2018 have trialled in Sailing after the sport was introduced for the first time to the Invictus Games programme.
The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event set up by Prince Harry, and open to wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans.
Sailing is one of the 11 sports to feature in the Games, which will be held this year in Sydney from 20 – 27 October 2018. The boat classes for the UK Team are the Elliot7 and the Hansa 303; five sailors will be selected for the UK team, which will be announced in May.
