Invictus Games Sydney 2018 - Jaguar Land Rover UK Driving Challenge Trials

UK Team gather for the final time before heading to Sydney

Monday 24 September, 2018 - The UK team selected for this year’s Invictus Games gather for the last time together to compete for the chance to represent their country in the first medaled event in Sydney – the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge.

Former England and Wales international rugby legends Jason Robinson and Sam Warburton have also attended the event at the weekend in Eastnor and showed their support for the UK team.

The Invictus Games is an international adaptive multi-sport event set up by HRH The Duke of Sussex. First held in London in 2014, the Games uses the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.

The Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge is a test of skill and precision where two participants from each nation will be required to display the best teamwork, cohesion and communication to take home the gold medal. Taking on a Jaguar challenge, the courses are designed for nations to work as a team while taking the vehicles through precision gates.
