Jaguar Land Rover Reveal the New Jaguar F-PACE SVR at The New York International Auto Show

Automaker showcases its largest ever line-up in New York

(NEW YORK) -- MARCH 28, 2018 -- Today, at the New York International Auto Show, Jaguar Land Rover has globally revealed the next model to emerge from JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations division - the fastest and most powerful F-PACE yet.

Mike Cross, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integrity, Jaguar Land Rover said:

“The F-PACE SVR delivers the handling and agility to match its performance. Everything from the steering to the bespoke suspension set-up has been tuned specifically for our performance SUV and the result is a vehicle that lives up to the promise of both the F-PACE and SVR names.”

Drawing on Jaguar Land Rover’s extensive all-terrain expertise, the F-PACE SVR features a host of advanced technologies to ensure superb all-surface performance. All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics, All Surface Progress Control and Adaptive Surface Response ensure the SUV can handle conditions in all weathers.

Additionally at this year’s New York International Auto Show, Jaguar Land Rover will showcase its largest line-up ever from both brands.

The show will host the global debut of a new derivative within the Jaguar line-up, as well as North American debuts of the all-new, all-electric Jaguar I-PACE production vehicle and the limited edition Range Rover SV Coupe.

The 2018 show will be a milestone for Jaguar Land Rover as the company is also recognizing the opening of its new state-of-the-art North American headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey, which includes a product research, training and development center.

The Jaguar brand will display vehicles from the 2018/2019 model year lineup, including the Jaguar XE sports sedan; the XF Sportbrake premium station wagon; and the 2019 F-TYPE SVR sports car. The new ‘PACE’ family of Jaguar SUVs will also be on display: the Jaguar F-PACE, winner of the 2017 World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year awards; the Jaguar E-PACE compact performance SUV; and the Jaguar I-PACE production vehicle, the first all-electric vehicle to be offered by Jaguar.

Land Rover will display vehicles from its 2018/2019 lineup of premium SUVs, including its new halo, the limited edition two-door Range Rover SV Coupe and new plug-in hybrid 2019 Range Rover P400e. The fourth member of the Range Rover family, the Range Rover Velar will be joined by the Range Rover Evoque; Range Rover Sport SVR; and Land Rover Discovery.
